Private schools in Oceania cover exclusively on schools whose areas include a wide area of the south pacific region. There are early immigrants in Australia and New Zealand that brought the English-style school wear and uniforms to this region. However, in keeping with the regional climate, the students in private schools in Oceania have to adopt more styles in wearing their school uniforms. Still, it is also clear that these school uniforms have also English influence. In fact, there are many British styled-uniforms we can see nowadays in New Zealand. The Philippines and Indonesian private elementary schools are considered part of large countries in the Oceania with diverse populations. The schools in these countries have uniforms. However, we can not easily distinguish a national style in their uniforms.

The most visible system of education in this country are traditional day and afternoon-type schools, although, private schools in the country are already look up to by many people as having the quality of education. Many private schools are usually owned by private individuals, corporations and businessmen. The state-run institution is also having the most number of schools in the country because only 30 percent of the population can afford the cost of private education.
